Key Features
Sunrise & Sunset Modes
Schedule the bulb to fade up in warm light at wake time and dim down to amber at bedtime, no buttons required.
16 Million Colors
Full RGB plus tunable white from 2700K candlelight to 6500K daylight. Pick a calm red for late nights and you’re set.
WiFi, No Hub Needed
Connects directly to your router on 2.4 GHz. The SwitchBot app handles scenes, schedules, and away-from-home control.
Voice Control Built In
Works with Alexa, Google Home, and Siri Shortcuts so “good night” can drop the lights without touching anything.
Our Experience
We swapped two regular LED bulbs in our nightstands for these and built a 9pm wind-down scene that drops them to about 10 percent brightness in a soft amber tone. The change in our reading habits was noticeable within a week. Reading with warm low light instead of overhead white made it much easier to put the book down and actually sleep at a reasonable hour.
The sunrise simulation is the feature that won us over. Setting the bulb to ramp from black to a soft daylight white over fifteen minutes is gentler than any alarm clock we’ve tried. Some mornings we wake up before the alarm even has a chance to chirp because the room is already lit.
The SwitchBot app is a little busy but the bulb itself just works. WiFi reconnect after a power blip is quick. The only quirk we hit was that the bulb defaults to bright white whenever the power is physically cut at the wall switch, which is more of a habit-change problem than a bulb problem.

- Only works on 2.4 GHz WiFi (most routers handle this fine)
- App design is functional but feels a bit busy
