📱

💡

Bedside Lamp Built-In

Dimmable reading light. Warm amber for wind-down, clean white for reading.

Our Experience

The first thing you notice about the Restore 3 is how seamlessly it slots into a nightstand. Rounded shape, no harsh blue display, feels more like a piece of furniture than electronics. Setup via the Hatch app takes about five minutes and then you can basically ignore the phone.

Wake light is where this thing earns its keep. Starting with a deep red that shifts to sunrise orange over 30 minutes, followed by the audio cue of your choice, it is genuinely easier to get up with than a harsh alarm. We slept past it on day one because it was too gentle. By day three we were up before the alarm actually finished its fade.

Subscription content is extensive. Some is included, premium tier unlocks the full library. If you only want the wake light and white noise machine features, you can skip the subscription entirely and still get great value.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the Hatch+ subscription?

No. Basic features work out of the box. Hatch+ unlocks the full sleep content library, extra soundscapes, and guided wind-down routines.

How is this different from Restore 2?

Restore 3 adds Bluetooth audio, a refreshed design, USB-C charging, and an expanded sound library. Same core sunrise alarm concept, better execution.

Can kids use it?

Adults mostly, but it works great as a gentle wake light for older kids who have their own room.

Final Verdict

The Hatch Restore 3 is the upgrade that makes the whole Restore line worth the premium. If your current alarm is your phone, swapping it out for a device that wakes you gradually with light and sound changes your mornings in a way thats hard to quantify. Buy it, get it off the phone, see the difference in two weeks.
