Memorial Day is when mattress companies actually mean it on their discounts. Black Friday gets the headlines, but mattress and sleep gear deals in late May tend to be deeper and more honest. We pulled the picks worth grabbing in 2026.
1. Saatva Classic Mattress – $400 off
Saatva runs Memorial Day deals every year. The Classic at queen size drops from $1,995 to $1,595. The dual-coil construction and 3 firmness options make it one of the few “good for everyone” mattresses we recommend without caveats.
2. Helix Midnight Luxe – 25 percent off
Helix’s bestseller. Memorial Day brings it from $1,899 to $1,424 at queen. Best for side sleepers and combo sleepers. More mattress picks here.
3. Tempur-Pedic LuxeAdapt – $500 off
Tempur-Pedic almost never discounts the LuxeAdapt this hard. $4,499 down to $3,999 isn’t cheap, but if you’ve been waiting on a high-end memory foam, this is the price point.
4. Tuft & Needle Original – $200 off + free pillow
The budget pick. Memorial Day at $695 from $895 (queen). Surprisingly good for the money, especially for guest rooms or college kids.
5. Saatva Loom & Leaf Memory Foam – $300 off
The premium memory foam from Saatva. Side sleepers and back sleepers both rate it well. Memorial Day pricing closes the gap to a Helix or Nectar but with significantly better quality control.
6. Hatch Restore 2 Sound Machine – $40 off
The latest Hatch. Better speaker than the original, customizable sunrise alarm, white noise library. Drops from $199 to $159.
7. Brooklinen Luxe Sheets – 20 percent off
The 480 thread count percale that gets recommended in every “best sheets” article. Memorial Day brings the queen set to about $137 from $169.
8. Eight Sleep Pod 4 Cover – $300 off
The smart mattress cover that heats and cools each side independently. Premium price, but Memorial Day discount makes it more justifiable. From $2,295 to $1,995.
9. Coop Original Pillow – 15 percent off
The shredded memory foam pillow that’s been the side-sleeper recommendation for 5+ years. Memorial Day brings it from $75 to $64.
10. Casper Original Mattress – $200 off
Casper has fallen behind in the rankings, but their Memorial Day pricing on the Original is solid for a guest bed or first apartment. $1,295 to $1,095 at queen.
11. Bear Hybrid Mattress – 35 percent off + 2 free pillows
Bear’s pricing on Memorial Day is aggressive. The Hybrid at queen drops from $1,890 to $1,228, plus the pillows. Good for athletes who like a firmer surface.
What to skip
Anything called “Memorial Day Mattress in a Box Doorbuster” from Amazon brands you don’t recognize. The mattress industry is full of identical foam slabs sold under 40 different brand names. The major players (Saatva, Helix, Tempur-Pedic, Tuft & Needle, Bear, Casper) are the safer bets even at full price.
