Loop Quiet 2 ear plugs in carry case

Key Features

🔇

24 dB Noise Reduction

Rated to take the edge off snoring, household clatter, and most ambient noise without going full sensory deprivation.

🌙

Sleep-Friendly Design

Sits flush in your ear, so side sleepers can actually use them without getting jabbed by the case every time they roll over.

♻️

Reusable Silicone

Not the foam disposables you toss after a week. These last months, just rinse them off occasionally.

📦

Comes with Carry Case

The little pill-shaped case is honestly the best part of the packaging. Doesn’t get lost in your nightstand drawer like loose earplugs do.

In-Depth Review

I bought the Loop Quiet 2 because my partner started snoring louder than usual and the foam earplugs I had been using were giving me sore ear canals. The pitch was, reusable silicone, designed for sleep, comfortable enough to wear all night. Twenty four bucks felt fair.

Three weeks in, here is the honest version. They are excellent at the kind of noise they are designed for, snoring, dog snoring, dishwasher running, distant TV. The 24 dB rating isnt a marketing lie. My partner is still snoring, I just don’t really hear it anymore. That alone is worth the price.

Where they fall short is sharper, higher-pitch noise. A garbage truck at 6 am still woke me up. A baby crying down the hall, same. The Quiet 2 takes the bass and middle out of ambient sound but lets through the alarming stuff, which is honestly probably a safety feature, not a bug. If you live somewhere loud and busy, these alone might not be enough.

Fit is the other thing nobody tells you. The package comes with 4 ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L) and you absolutely have to try a couple before you decide if they work for you. I went with the small on the left and medium on the right which sounds dumb but apparently a lot of people have asymmetric ear canals. Once dialed in, I forget they’re in within about a minute.

Pros & Cons

What We Liked

  • Genuinely comfortable for side sleepers, doesn’t dig in
  • Real noise reduction for snoring and household sounds
  • Reusable means no constant restocking
  • Carry case is small enough to live in your luggage permanently
  • $24 is reasonable for something you’ll use every night

Worth Knowing

  • Sharper, higher-frequency sounds still get through
  • Takes a few nights to find your right ear tip size
  • Smaller silicone tips can be easy to drop on a dark floor
  • Wont fully block traffic if you live on a busy street

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Loop Quiet 2 block out snoring?

For most snoring, yes, especially the low rumbling kind. Heavy, congested snoring at close range may still come through faintly. We had the best luck pairing them with a white noise machine on the nightstand for the deepest snorers.

Are they comfortable for side sleepers?

This is where Loop earplugs actually shine. The shape sits flush against the ear, so you can roll onto your pillow without feeling the case dig in. Foam plugs and over-ear muffs cant compete here.

Loop Quiet 2 vs Loop Switch 2, which should I get?

Quiet 2 is sleep-only and the cheaper option. Switch 2 has three noise modes you can toggle between, useful if you want one pair for sleep, concerts, and offices. If you only need them at night, Quiet 2 is the better value.

Will my alarm still wake me up with these in?

Yes, but your phone alarm at low volume might not. Crank it up a couple notches the first week to be safe. Most alarms have higher-pitched tones that the Quiet 2 doesn’t filter out as much.

Final Verdict

The Loop Quiet 2 is the right answer if your noise problem is snoring or a noisy household. At $24 they cost less than a month of nice coffee and they actually work for what they’re built for. If you live on a busy street or work nights and sleep days, you’ll need to pair these with a fan or white noise machine to fully knock out traffic and sharper sounds. Skip if you wanted complete silence, they’re sleep aids, not soundproofing.
