Key Features

🌿

100% Natural Latex

Pure Dunlop latex tapped from rubber trees, no synthetic blends. The cellular structure breathes overnight.

❄️

Sleeps Cool

Pinhole ventilation channels move heat away from your body. A real difference if you sleep hot under wool toppers.

🧵

GOTS Cotton Cover

Removable, washable organic cotton cover. The cover unzips for cleaning without disturbing the latex underneath.

💪

Adds 2″ of Firmness

Gives a soft mattress some support without making it too hard. Ideal for stomach and back sleepers fixing a sagging bed.

Our Experience

We laid the myComfort on a 7-year-old innerspring queen and slept on it for three weeks. Out of the box it had the typical natural latex smell — slightly milky, not chemical — and that aired out after a day with the windows open. By night two it was gone.

The 2-inch height adds noticeable support without changing the feel of the mattress underneath. Our test sleeper is a stomach-leaning side sleeper who’d been waking up with hip pain on a soft bed. After a week on the topper, the hip discomfort was clearly less, and the bed went from “sinking” to “supportive.”

Compared to the wool myMerino topper Sleep & Beyond also makes, the latex runs cooler in summer. The wool option is still the better fit for cold sleepers in winter. They serve different jobs — pick the latex if you sleep warm or want firmer support.

Pros & Cons

What We Liked

  • Real natural latex with no synthetic blend
  • Pinholes keep airflow steady all night
  • Removable, washable organic cotton cover
  • Genuinely firms up a soft, sagging mattress

Worth Knowing

  • Mild latex smell out of the box (fades in a day)
  • Heavy — needs two people to fit on a king bed
  • Pricier than synthetic foam toppers

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the latex smell go away?

Yes — air the topper for 24 to 48 hours after unboxing and the natural latex aroma fades. It’s not a chemical off-gas like synthetic foam.

Is this better than memory foam?

It depends on what you want. Latex is cooler and more responsive. Memory foam contours more deeply but can sleep hot. Latex is the pick for cooler, more supportive sleep.

Can I wash the cover?

Yes — unzip it and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Don’t wash the latex itself.

How does it compare to the myMerino wool topper?

The myMerino is wool over latex — softer, warmer, ideal for winter. The myComfort is pure latex — firmer, cooler, year-round. Pick by sleep temperature first.

Final Verdict

The myComfort is the natural-latex topper to buy if you want to firm up a soft mattress without chasing synthetic foam. Three weeks in, hip pain dropped, the bed slept cooler, and the build quality looks like it’ll outlast cheap toppers by a wide margin.

For warm sleepers or anyone needing more support without replacing the whole mattress, this is a clear pick.
